IFM - What is Integrative Functional Medicine?

My interaction with artificial intelligence helped me to realize a few things about Integrative Functional Medicine that I am currently working on:

  • Personalized medicine

  • Identify and address the root cause of the illness when possible

  • Understand person effect on illness on many levels including emotional, biological, and spiritual.

  • Emphasis on healing rather than curing

  • Utilizes lifestyle (food, physical activity, and mind-body tools) appropriately

  • Utilizes expanded functional medicine labs appropriately

  • Utilizes supplements appropriately

  • Utilizes evidence based medicine appropriately.

  • Provide insurance utilization when possible

None of my past experience allowed for me to develop integrative functional medicine with ALL of the above components.

I feel a deep gratitude towards Memorial Hospital and its CEO - Ada.
